The Platform is operated under the brand name The Balanced Investor Club by The Balanced Research Club Corporation, a corporation incorporated in the State of Wyoming, United States (the "Company").

2. How You Create an Account (Google Login Only)

At this time, access to the Platform is available exclusively via Google Login. We do not offer alternative registration or sign-in methods.

When you choose to sign in with Google, authentication is handled by Google using OAuth. We do not receive your Google password and we do not gain access to your Google account beyond authentication.

Google processes your personal data in accordance with its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review Google's privacy practices.

3. Information We Collect

a) Information Received from Google

When you sign in via Google, we receive:

• Your name
• Email address
• Profile image (if provided)
• A unique Google account identifier (OAuth ID)

b) Information Collected Automatically

We may collect technical and usage information, including:

• Usage data (pages viewed, features used, timestamps)
• Log files and error reports

c) Communications

If you contact us, we may collect the content of your communications and related contact details.

d) AI Companion Conversations

When you use the AI Companion, we collect and store the content of your conversations, including your messages, the responses generated, your user identifier, and timestamps.

Your conversations are processed by Amazon Web Services (AWS Bedrock) as a data processor acting on our behalf. Conversation data is retained only for as long as necessary to deliver the AI Companion service, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.

We use conversation data to deliver the AI Companion service, improve service quality, and better understand user needs. Members of our team may access conversation data for product and service improvement purposes. We may also use conversation data in aggregated, anonymized form for research or market insights. We do not use your conversations to train AI models or share them with third parties for marketing purposes.

You may request access to or deletion of your conversation history at any time by contacting privacy@thebalancedinvestorclub.com.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use personal data to:

• Authenticate users and manage secure access to the Platform
• Provide and operate the Platform and its features
• Manage subscriptions and billing (via third-party providers)
• Communicate with you about the Platform

• Infrastructure & hosting — Vercel, MongoDB Atlas, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Upstash for hosting, database storage, backend processing, and performance optimization
• AI services — Amazon Web Services (AWS Bedrock) for processing AI Companion conversations
• Professional advisors (legal, accounting, compliance)
• Authorities, if required by law or to protect our rights

All service providers are required to process data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

As a U.S.-based company, we may process and store personal data outside your country of residence, including in the United States.
