Your Claude just got an upgrade. It stopped guessing.
Every number now comes from a live call — 13,000+ instruments, your journal, your positions. Nothing recalled. Nothing invented. And not one of the 26 skills will ever tell you what to buy.
Five areas of professional practice
Skills are step-by-step methods Claude follows automatically when relevant. Commands are actions you trigger yourself, like /comps or /earnings.
One connector. Everything included.
The professional catalog runs on institutional data subscriptions. Ours runs on The Balanced Investor Club connector: one free sign-in, every number from a live tool call.

Does it tell me what to buy or sell?+–
No, under any circumstance. We're educators, not advisors. Your decisions are your own.
Do I need a market-data subscription?+–
No. The workflows professionals run against paid terminals run here on our connector, included.
Does it hallucinate numbers like other AI?+–
Every number comes from a live tool call, not from Claude's memory. That is the whole point of the connector.
Which Claude do I need?+–
Claude on the web, desktop, or Claude Code in the terminal. Any plan that supports plugins.
The tools don't appear after installing. What now?+–
Restart Claude or start a new chat; the tools register on the next session. If they still don't appear, add the connector manually once: Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector with the URL thebalancedinvestorclub.com/api/mcp/mcp, and authorize it.
Claude asks approval for every tool. Is that normal?+–
Yes, the first time each tool runs. Choose "Allow always": the market data tools are read-only and can't change anything. Tools that write to your account will still ask, which is the behavior you want.
Same Claude. It just stopped guessing.
Real data, every time. No ratings, no price targets, nobody telling you what to buy. Install it in under a minute.
The financial workflow catalog, as one Claude plugin
Institutional analysts run their workflows on paid data terminals. The Balanced Investor Club plugin packages 26 of those workflows (comparable company analysis, DCF models, earnings updates, morning notes, a trading journal that reads back what you wrote) and serves them with our connector instead, so the same methods run on real data with no terminal contract.
26 skills, 57 tools, one install
Install once and Claude gains the catalog plus the connector that feeds it: market mood, fundamentals, financial statements, analyst estimates, news, macro and sector context; and, when you sign in, your own trackers, journal and Trust Score. Skills trigger automatically when relevant; commands like /comps or /earnings run on demand.
Ask Claude, once the plugin is installed:
- ➜“Build a comps analysis for Apple versus Microsoft and Google.”
- ➜“Draft my morning note.”
- ➜“Analyze NVIDIA's latest quarterly earnings.”
- ➜“Read my trading journal back to me, and what my Trust Score says.”
Every number in every workflow comes from a live tool call, never from the model's memory. The catalog is educational: it never makes buy or sell recommendations, nothing executes transactions, and nothing here predicts the future. The decision is always yours.
