Real numbers, from a real tool — not a guess from memory.

01 — Why you need one

Your AI is brilliant — but blindfolded

It was trained on a snapshot of the past, and it can't see your accounts. So when you ask about today, it guesses from memory. That's the gap an MCP closes.

Generic AI

It answers from training data frozen months ago — it has no idea what the market did today.
It can't see your journal, your trackers or your Trust Score, so it can't reason about your actual behavior.
When it doesn't know a number, it fills the gap with a confident guess that sounds right but isn't.

With The Balanced Investor Club

It reads live market data — moods, prices, fundamentals and macro across 13,000+ instruments.
It opens your own journal and Trust Score, so what it tells you is grounded in what you actually did.
Every figure comes from a real tool. If the answer isn't in the data, it tells you instead of inventing it.

IN ONE LINE

An MCP is a standard plug between your AI and our data. Paste one link, and your assistant swaps guessing for real tools.

Questions, answered

Do I need to understand any of this to use it?+

No — you can paste the URL, sign in and start asking questions in plain English. This page is here for the moments you want to know exactly how it works, nothing more.

Is connecting really free?+

Yes. The public tools work with no sign-up, up to 50 questions a day. The tools that read your own journal, trackers and Trust Score just need a free account — no credit card.

Can it trade for me or move money?+

No, under no circumstance. It reads data, and the logging tools record a trade you already made into your journal. It can't place orders, move funds or touch a brokerage.

Which AI tools support it?+

Any assistant with custom MCP connectors — Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Cursor, Grok and Mistral. The steps are the same in each: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the URL → sign in.

Why can't the AI just answer without it?+

It can answer — but from memory of its training data, which is frozen in the past and never includes your accounts. The connector is what lets it read today's market and your own records instead of approximating.

Less guessing. More knowing.

Paste one link, ask in plain English, get real numbers. It takes under a minute and the market tools are free.

We're educators, not advisors. Everything here is educational — it describes market data and your own history, never makes buy or sell recommendations, and nothing predicts future performance.

Every AI tool for stock investing, in plain language

An MCP connector is only as useful as the tools behind it. The Balanced Investor Club's connector gives your AI 47 of them — from market mood and fundamentals to news, macro context and your own trading journal — each one returning a real answer from real data on 13,000+ instruments, never a guess. This page is the plain-English reference for all of them.

47 tools, one connector, real data

Every tool maps to a question you'd actually ask: what's the mood, how do these stocks compare, what do the fundamentals say, how's my own discipline. Search the full list, or open any tool to see the exact answer your assistant gets back — market mood, financials, news, sector and industry returns, your journal and Trust Score.

A few of the questions the 47 tools answer:

  • What's the market mood today, and which sectors are leading?
  • Compare Apple, Microsoft, NVIDIA and Google this year.
  • Show me Apple's fundamentals, dividends and latest news.
  • What are my journal stats and Trust Score?

Because every tool reads real data, what your assistant tells you is grounded in fact, not invented. The tools are educational — they describe market data and your own history, never make buy or sell recommendations, and nothing here predicts the future. The decision is always yours.
